Photos

Photography has been a constant in my life, from my teen-age years of documenting high school and neighborhood life, through the project on California’s farm workers in the Sixties, photojournalism style “coverage” of our daughter Martha’s childhood, extensive work on California’s spiritual awareness movement in the 70s, environmental photography of California’s ecosystems, and sessions related to my Sustainable Development work in the US, China and five other Asian countries.

I am beginning my harvest of this side of my life with my 1960s photos of farm workers in California:  You can see three galleries from my current show at the Graduate School of Journalism, University of California at Berkeley . Don’t Cry for Me Babey -Revisited

You can also see photos of some of the last hand picking of cotton, a crop where machines now handle all of the harvest. Low cotton
