Humanity’s Interconnection with Nature

Seeds to change Humanity’s worldview to one of Interconnection with Nature

A vision of Interconnection with Nature     A selection of Actors in the Worldview

We are exploring creation of an initiative to vastly increase the population of actors living and working within the Worldview of Humanity’s Interconnection with Nature.

At this early stage we are evolving the mission and process of the initiative in conversation with potential participants. Then we will support self-organizing of already established networks around this mission.

The networks of actors who live and work in the worldview of interconnection include: indigenous centers, spiritual centers, holistic sciences, educators, funders, publications, NGOs, and creatives.

Initially, it appears appropriate for the initiative to be a self-organizing learning process that evolves over time. This is one of many ways in which the process might unfold:

  • A first organization explicitly working in the worldview of interconnection with nature agrees to be a network hub.
  • It creates an internal process to explore how it ‘s actions could better reflect the worldview of interconnection.
  • This organization works with its funders, partners, and other significant organizations to identify actions to share the worldview of interconnection.
  • Each of the members of this first network reaches out to its networks with an invitation to start their own initiative.
  • Meanwhile, an initiative core team continues recruiting more network hub organizations to begin their versions of the initiative.

A home-base website will contain progress reports from each participating network; content and process resources; and a model knowledge map. Our proposed initiative differs from other large visions for transformation. Rather than being a fully developed vision it evolves over time as an expanding learning process.
